I checked my setting in kcontrol... My buttons are set

running when I logged out?

Hi Jeff,
I propose this test (names between '"' can be localized):
- Close all application windows
- KMenu -> "System" -> "Monitor" -> "KInfoCenter"),
activate the radio
button titled "Restore Manually saved session", then close KControl saving
the setting.
- kMenu -> "Internet" -> "KMail". Start KMail (no more than
opening it)
- KMenu -> "Save Session" (see attached picture somewhere in this thread)
- KMenu -> "Log Out..." -> "Close session"
- Outside KDE (TDE) Re-enter the same session (I dont know what appens when
it is automatic, but I suppose you dont have anything to do!)
Once the session is re-openned, you should see the KMail window openned (on
the same desktop). If not, there must be someting wrong in your
instalation...
Cheers
Patrick
