Possibly. I've never used it before. So I just tried it and couldn't see how
to do the first thing I wanted to do: split the screen :-(
Doubtless there's a way to do that, but I couldn't find anything to tell me
how. (The kwrite handbook is silent on the topic.)
So that doesn't bode well for using kwrite instead of kate.
