The actual TDE repositories are mirrored; you can
select a mirror from
this list and pretty much ignore the rest of the TDE services if you
want
to.

The only caveat is that occasionally we add / lose mirrors (after all,
the
mirrors are being provided to us on the good will of other people /
organisations); you won't receive any notification if a mirror goes down
or goes stale.
