Hi Tim,
Trinity uses a selectable external backend program to actually do the spell checking.
yes, I know. That's why I listed a couple of choices. Teh problem behind ist: whatever I select in Control Center->KDE Components->Spell checking->Dictionary, KMail seems to use an English dictionary. Well, even English words get marked red. And I don't find Spell checking in the KMail menus.
