My dead desktop was an Intel NUC system, so basically
the same as the
ASUS unit I've ordered. The biggest problem was that if I was trying to
do something CPU-intensive, it would get hot and the CPU would drop down
to a slower speed. I dealt with that by pointing a USB desk fan at the
unit.
OK, looks like a work around :) not applicable in my case.
