frequent hangups

Hello: My TDE session frequently hangs. A message window opens at the bottom right corner of the screen saying: "New display output options are available! A screen has been added, removed, or changed." After this the screen inputs (mouse and keyboard) become unresponsive. Running programs keep running. I have to hard reset the computer. This is becoming annoying. I have openSUE 13.2 with TDE R14.0.4. Any idea what causes this and how to fix it? Thanks, Istvan
