other applications can) and what was the fix?
There are a number of API calls that GTK applications can make to set up
the open/save dialog. Basically kgtk-qt3 was unaware of two of them, so
it was not able to set up the dialog useably for GTK applications which
used those API calls, such as geany and Chrome.
