The "find text as you type" feature
seems not to work for me in
konqueror/khtml 3.5.12. The shortcut is still set correctly to /,
but nothing happens when I press the / key.
Is this a known problem, or if not then how can I debug it further, please ?
I'm sure somebody on this list must be running some form of Trinity !
What happens when you load a web page in Konqueror, click on the page,
press / and start typing one of the words on the page ? For instance:
load
http://trinity-users.pearsoncomputing.net/?0::1341
press '/'
type 'problem'
You should see that search string appear in the status bar and the word
"problem" in the page should be highlighted. Does it work for anyone else ?
Using 3.5.11 here on Karmic 9.10:
It works if I type _quickly_.
If I type slowly or _not_at_all_ , it displays "Find stopped."
When not typing at all, it times out in 3 seconds or less.
