Its the followup of this thread, that i cross posted on the mageia mailing list.
mageia would probably be ok to include trinity if they have a
packager, so . . . if you are interested in becoming an official mga
package maintainer, the way seems wide open !
also, I could possibly help you if needed, at the very least by
testing your packages, and possibly even for packaging with a little
guidance , i did package a few rpms 10-15 years ago ;)

I just upgraded mageia from 4 to 5 and it seems there is no trinity repository for mga5.
I found https://wiki.trinitydesktop.org/MageiaInstall and there seems to be nothing for
mga5 ;(
did I miss something ? If not can I hope for a mga5 repository soon or will I have to
drop mageia ? ( I cant live
more than a few weeks without my preferred desktop , trinity. the upgrade from mga4 to
mga5 have orphaned all the
trinity packages.
Mageia packages are built by Francois, so I guess they will become available
sooner or later, depending on when he has
time.
Out of curiosity, have you tried installing the mageia4 TDE packages on mageia5? probably
won't work, but it might be
worth giving it a try, unless mageia has a strict packaging versioning system in place (I
am completely ignorant about
that).
