I agree Konqueror is fantastic, but here I don't have Image View (R 14.0.5 Development). I did not upgrade recently but install is quite fresh.

Is kviewshell-trinity installed? I searched synaptic for "konqueror+image view" and got gwenview-trinity, konq-plugins-trinity, and kviewshell-trinity.
