Hi Baron, if you can reproduce it in a regular way, please open a bug report, so we won't forget this problem over time. Please include the steps you mentioned.

this kind of thing happens because file managers, even in 2014, do not redraw the content of the directories as soon as changes are made in their content.

Konqueror in TDE has this refresh problem, and it annoys me a lot. it is definitely something we will have to look at after v14.0.0 has been released.
