The development team is pleased to celebrate
TDE's 10th birthday by
announcing the immediate availability of the new TDE R14.0.8
release. TDE is a complete software desktop environment designed for
Unix-like operating systems, intended for computer users preferring
a traditional desktop model, and is free/libre software.
A *BIG* Thank you to you development team for these ten years. Ten
years after I still have not found any desktop that really compares
with TDE.
Deepin DE is not bad (my wife uses it) but, as others have just
pointed out, konqueror as a file manager has never been equalled. Just
the fact that KDE throw it out shows they were heading the wrong way.
So again thank you for 10 years of happy Desktop life!
