Do you mean: when the grub menu with
kubuntu
kubuntu-recovery
WinXp
Pops up I put the cursor on the first hit e for edit
get the menu and add a new line with
init=/bin/bash
Then with Crt-x I boot?
Well this did not work.
I also tried to use
kubuntu-recovery
but there seemed to be a problem with my laptop keyboard.
I hope when I retry on Monday with the desktop that this
keyboard problem does not occur and I could use the
kubuntu-recovery option.
