In terminal as user I get the same result, with no error messages. As SUDO up
it comes and opens documents happily?

Question: when will get kgtk-qt3-trinity not longer installed by sefault - too much
trouble with gtk applications. I wasn't able to use
* lazarus-ide
* dropbox
* calibre
without using using sudo before I uninstalled the culprit.
