The old KDE3 module contained a "screen" droplist for configuring individual monitors--has this changed? (I only have single-monitor systems available right now.)
This is the first time I have had to deal with a multi monitor situation, but with recent changes such as TV over the internet I know it will not be the last.
Another option, if and only if your computer's video card uses an nVidia chipset, is to install the manufacturer's proprietary driver module and configuration utility, which offers extended support. I don't know if AMD offers an equivalent. Intel almost certainly doesn't.
The chipset I have in this computer is an Intel. I found out soon enough that Intel does not.
