But, G* can only do all it's capable of from a running X session terminal, depending on various X utilities to gather the desired info.
does look useful though I was dropped to a Grub shell so not sure how many resources would be available to it.
BTW, whatever $SUBJECT means, it's not something I've ever encountered or had use for. Thus I didn't touch the thread until a keyword was added to it.
