Try the Refracta Linux tools they work pretty well with Debian.

Do you have a link to the iso you're referring to?
Just so you know, I don't know what I'm doing at this time, right now I'm
just poking a lot of things. I took a look at the devuan net-install iso
and it looked like a blob, I think this new build your own live distro
stuff that's being used is a blob. What I used before was remastersys and
it retired and then un-retired and was at that gethub place but ran away
because it's no friend of MS. So I will see if I can upgrade and update
one of my own live-iso's that already has remastersys installed. Also I'm
thinking about a devuan jessie net-install-iso that includes the trinity
sources and maybe even a choice to install tde-trinity. Plus I just found
out I have over 156GB of waisted wasted space in one folder I need to sort
out, I'm a pack rat and these are all duplicate files(458 files in 256
groups).
