One more mystery:
I opened Voronoi in kpdf, still only formulas. Then I "Ctrl-P" that
file and "preview" "print" ....surprise, surprise, the preview screen
showed text plus embedded formulas perfectly!!
AND the paper-printout of all! pages was also perfect.
The culprit clearly is hidden in kpdf.
