You can turn off "Ctrl-Alt-Del
to login" - in /etc/trinity/kdm/kdmrc
enable: UseSAK=false

that did not work. What I had to do was uncomment SelectedUsers=
and added my login. Then when I restarted kdm-trinity it opened to the
username password boxes and I could login.
