And it solves the problem!
"Rename icons inline" - this is description which explains what happens
if this option is selected.
In Polish versions there are no "icons" but "files" in the
description!
Now it's clear for me.

think it would be better called something like, "In Icon View, click
filename to rename". I rarely use Icon Mode, so had never tried it
before now. I don't know, but I would guess it works only in Icon
View because it would be very inconvenient in other Views, to have it
go into Rename mode every time you click on a filename.
