Hello again. I have managed to install my desktop environment, alongside with KDE4 and GNOME 3. Most of the desktop environment seems to work okay, except for two major issues.

1. There is no shutdown option in the menu, despite the option to

provide shutdown options is enabled in the settings.

2. Upon highlighting the System and Preferences menus, the panel seems

to crash. After a first crash, it restarts. But after a second crash, the panel does not seem to load anymore unless I re log.

Are you using Kicker or Kickoff?
