The answer is NO. I just tried it on many different PDFs, in many different
places on my system, and Konqueror (nor anything else) crashes.
Unfortunately I don't have any other computers which are up and running, on
which to test it more extensively.
I do remember Konqueror crashing for unusual reasons (like, I had a gazillion
windows and tabs up in Konqueror, which is pretty typical for me); but that
was in older systems, when I was running one of the 'buntus with TDE, or even
back in the KDE3 days.
By the way, I am currently running Devuan Jessie with Trinity R14.0.6. What
are you running?
