mouse over focus changed

I changed my sources to slaveks updates to R14. I am running Wheezy In Kontact, when my cursor moves over the icons in the navigation? area, email, contacts, calendar..etc, in the left pane..the focus has changed from clicking on the icon to focus app to auto changing the app..very irritating . Also in KPDF, similar behavior in the save as dialog, the file name changes as the cursor moves over file tree to select the proper folder...losing the file name in the process.
