don't expect to use any kind of analog audio "stuff" when I have an HDMI
cable, which is all digital AFAIK, carrying sound to display speakers.
Not sure if this will help or not, I'm slowly working on building an old
notebook into a movie (TV) player and need to switch the sound from notebook
to HDMI out (when the HDMI cable gets plugged in). Someone in MX land needed
