1st, a political point.  Yes, I know that we eschew politics, but we may have the occasional Ulsterman (or woman) on this list.  This is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.  The rest of the island of Ireland is Eire, as you correctly say.  You refer in the time zones to "GB and Eire", so what happens to poor old Ulster, otherwise known as Northern Ireland?  Did you forget it?  Or have you got IRA leanings and are lumping it in with Eire?? ;-)
