[tde-users] Re: tderandrtray question

Hello all, I don't know if there might be a bug here. I am running TDE on a desktop. Every time I update/upgrade TDE, I get error messsages from tderandrtray which, from what I can guess from my notebook, is a system tray applet for screen rotation and resizing. This message does not appear at once, so obviously tderandrtray does some sort of check at times and runs into a problem (backtrace output is provided). I only saw this on my main machine, not on the video/games machine that shares the same kvm switch, so I'd guess it has to to with the video card (AMD Raven on the computer with the problem, Radeon RX on the other) and/or the motherboard (both Gigabyte with AMD CPU, but not the same). My solution has been to rename /opt/trinity/bin/tderandrtray to tderandrtray_old, however I have to do this every time and probably not everyuser will know where to look and what to do. Thierry
