I have the following difficulties.
1. I install kubuntu 10.4
2 I modify the source.list file and follow the instructions from the
webpage however
would it be better to install ubuntu 10.4 instead of kubuntu and tehn
try to install trinity?

Probably better to install using the iso image Live CD, you can get it
here: http://apt.pearsoncomputing.net/cdimages/index_old.html
