Tony, Please beware that it is not recommended to use beta or nightly build software on a day-to-day basis. At some moments, your computer might be unusable or unstable, as development goes on and some parts of software might stop to work. This is why it might be better for you to stay on PCLinuxOS for now.
Also, look at the fundraising posts on the mailing list, and you'll see that even nightly build ready-to-use packages are not available for the moment. Also, as with all the TDE installs made from this site, you will get a vanilla install, not an extra chocolate one like mine!
Have a nice day! -Alexandre
Hi Alexandre Don't worry. I am extremely well aware what Betas and Alphas can do to the system. And I am doing it on my "" mess-around-and-be-happy "" computer. Thanks for the reminder anyway. Yes, I noticed that the nightly build was missing the cherries and chocolates. Not a problem, as I wanted to familiar myself with certain things that I didn't bother with in the past Need a tester who never complains ? Call me :-)
See you around. Was nice talking to you
Tony
