Could be that yast2 isn't playing well with TDE. Sorry, I can't
help you there as I'm running Debian Buster. Can you replicate
this with something TDE running under tdesu, e.g. Monitor and
Display:
The issue also occurs with Control Center, if I try to use any of the
components that require administrator access, e.g. font management or TDM
settings, so it has nothing to do with YaST; it's just that I use YaST a lot
more than Control Center...
