The same problems were with Jaunty KDE3 release. So nothing new,
just still not fixed.
I respectfully disagree. I installed KDE3 on top of the Ubuntu-9.04
jaunty (GNOME) and it went very smoothly. I never installed KDE4.
However some KDE4 libraries got somehow installed but caused no
problems. Cannot comment on Karmic.
