For a new user, the first few weeks of learning to run Linux is sort of like
moving to a different planet, because everything seems totally different. It
is, however, a very sane planet.

HAVE had to install them in Apple and MS. That's a nightmare. Perhaps
I'm mistunderstood (which is likely).
The only ones I know of are the video drivers (which are optional).
