The display issues are mostly just inconvenient, but
this one is more
of a problem. For me it happens in Firefox and Thunderbird (I don't
use Opera). Both programs crash as soon as I click OK in a save dialog
box. If it's a very small file it usually still gets saved, but all
but the smallest files don't get saved. I have to use either wget in a
shell, or save via the AttachmentExtractor addon in Thunderbird.
These and a few other problems make it impossible for me to set up
other users on Trinity. I can use it myself and work around the
problems, but I have to keep everyone else on XFCE.
Problems with crashes GTK programs I have seen only if I had installed
kgtk-qt3-trinity (and related), which replacing dialog boxes. But with
gtk-qt-engine-trinity, which only changes the appearance of gui widgets,
it does not fall.
Note: These problems apparently not related to the update 3.5.13.1.
