Some MX tools don't works well with TDE
(their update tool for example)
but I setup a second user with their original desktop (xfce) for this
purpose.
The MX update tool works fine on TDE, if you use lightdm instead of tdm. I
haven't taken the time to figure out exactly why. I haven't found any
other MX tools that have any problem with TDE.
