Already tried that. :(
If you want realtime text highlighting of misspelled
words (ugh) and
the above toggle doesn't enable it, there may not be an option for it—it
isn't exactly a widely requested feature in a syntax-highlighting
programmer's editor.
Geany has the option, as does KDE Kate and KWrite.
