Geolocation via IP address is a guess, and often a bad guess. One of
my servers is in Washington (state) but various geolocation algorithms
place it in Utah or Texas - that's roughly the same error as placing
Rochdale in Greece.
Tim said his whois is correct, so "whois pearsoncomputing.net" on
the command line implies that his server is in Belvidere Illinois,
a mere three hundred miles from geolocation's guess.
I had got an idea of Illinois from somewhere, but the idea was so vague I
didn't want to rely on it. :-/
