Thanks, Gerhard! It works!!

Hi Lisi,
Here's what I did to set a different font and a larger character size
in KMail. In the main Kmail window :
*Click on the Configuration menu
*Click on Configure Kmail
*Choose Appearance (in the column on the left)
*Choose the FONT tab
*Choose Apply to : Text message (or Body of message) I'm translating as
I go since I have a French Kmail *Choose your font name and size,
that's it
It works fine for me and it's "permanent".
Thanks, Marc. That's what I did that isn't working.
If this were package foo I would do:
# aptitude purge foo && aptitude install foo
but I'm worried about the mail and addresses etc. And if the problem is
in the configuration files, backing them up and reinstalling them would
just put me back where I am. Still, I think I'd better try it. Perhaps
after:
#aptitude reinstall kmail-trinity
and hope!
Or even -
# aptitude remove kmail-trinity && aptitude install kmail-trinity
and see where I get to!
Well, this is where I got to :-(
