I'll do some checking, and should be able to repost sometime this
evening my time, which is ATM EDT. UCT-5 or something like that. A
few past 18:00 or 6PM locally.
Ok Lisi, after installing those files,
*those* files? Sorry, Gene, you've lost me. Have I perhaps lost a
post in the thread?
I originally searched, using synaptic-pkexec, for "mouse pointer" which
narrows things to about 20 selections, but see below for a better search
string.
and a
logout/login, I had some new
selections in the mouse menu. Choosing the big red one without the
bold border, regular thin one fits my aging eyeballs nicely. But to
put it into use requires yet another logout/login.
\o/ \o/ That sounds terrific.
So yes, I believe it has alleviated some of my
problem, but I
suspect I can still see better than you from some of the comments
you have made,
Yes, I suspect so too - you are still doing precision milling. And
long may it continue.
but I hope it does help. Let us know plz.
Will do - but which files, please???
Lisi
Do a search for "comixcursors" (I use synaptic-pkexec), and if
ambidextrous, install all 5 pkgs. logout & back in, then in the trinity
menu's find the mouse, select it, then 2nd tab over is image selection
IIRC. Pick your poison, quit, log out/in again, done.
I hope it helps you too.
Thanks, Gene. Yes, I installed these some time ago when Slávek recommended
them. I could see them fine, especially the large red, so I forgave them for
being a little un-pretty (to coin a word). Sadly, the large ones seem to
have disappeared. However, it is obviously Jessie that is to blame, not
(TDE)14, so I shall have to take it up on the Debian list - when my wireless
problem has been finally put to bed.
