Quick note for developers/packagers.
Meta packages in TDE code were located in two subfolders (defaultsettings and metapackages).
They have now been consolidated into the metapackages folder.
"defaultsettings" does not exist any longer.

Hi all,
as some of you have experienced and reported in the past, Konqueror randomly crashes when cutting and pasting a file.
For example see:
https://bugs.trinitydesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3008http://mail.trinitydesktop.org/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/users@trinitydeskto…
This problem should now have been fixed by tdebase#178 (https://mirror.git.trinitydesktop.org/gitea/TDE/tdebase/pulls/178).
Given the random nature of the issue, before merging the patch to the master branch we would like to have additional
feedback from users who experienced the problem before. For this, Slavek has updated PSB/PTB packages with the
aforementioned patch and already published them.
Appreciated if users of PSB/PTB could report if no more crashes on cut-n-paste are experienced.
Cheers
Michele
Hi,
Similar to what Gene pointed, I had today this. Can you look into that, or I
should open ticket to not forget

Hi,
Following the instructions at
https://wiki.trinitydesktop.org/Raspbian_Trinity_Repository_Installation_In…
I installed tdebase-trinity (rather than tde-trinity), mainly because of disk
space concerns.
I then installed korganizer-trinity, which is the package of most
immediate interest to me.
However, when I try to configure the date and time (Settings/Configure
Date & Time ...) I am told
WARNING: No TDE menu group with X-TDE-BaseGroup=settings found !
Defaulting to Settings/
This leaves me completely unaware of what package(s) I should install
to make it happy.
Q1: Can anyone tell me which packages I would want to install to be
able to run this setting?
Q2: Can anyone tell me how I could have figured this out myself, short
of reading all the code? (I did look at some code, but decided
that it was taking me down some very long chain of function calls
with no end in sight, and I had to move on to some other work
right now.)
Thanks very much.
Jim

These messages pop up twice at each attempt to start a TDE session, then the
attempt aborts, regardless whether sessuib start attempt is via TDM or startx.
This is hardly the first time I've encountered this. What is the usual cause?
32 bit Bullseye & trinity-sb.

Dear developers,
every now and then I would like to add an issue in gitea workspace. But
I find it hard to find particular apps.
For example, I would like to add an issue for kweather (what I reported
earlier on tde-users) but when I enter "kweather" in the search field
it tells me that it didn't find any repositories.
What's the way to go from here? How could I find out in which of all
those sub repositories kweather resides?
To get more familiar with this gitea workspace probably would motivate
me to contribute to it more often. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
Kind regards,
Stefan
