Quick note for developers/packagers.
Meta packages in TDE code were located in two subfolders (defaultsettings and metapackages).
They have now been consolidated into the metapackages folder.
"defaultsettings" does not exist any longer.
Cheers
Michele
Thus, all installed packages remain mga7/14.0.8 versions. :~(

Hi,
I actually tried to upgrade old stretch, but couldn't
Then I tried to install from scratch, but also couldn't.
What is wrong - it worked all the time before :)
Any ideas?

Hi all, Nik,
in the tde-packaging repository in branch feat/freebsd-r14.0.x-pre, Trinity
ports were updated in connection with the preparation of R14.0.10. At the
same time, I updated my FreeBSD test machine to release 13 and ports were
updated accordingly. For example, this means that HAL support has been
turned off because it was removed from official ports.
Some builds were switched to CMake. New ports have been added for a few
applications. If you have time, you can test on your FreeBSD system if
everything looks fine.
Cheers

Why? What on a desktop PC uses it? Is it yet another overbearing openSUSE rpm
dependency that isn't really a dependency?
There is some relationship with upower, removal of which wants to remove 35
Trinity packages.

Hi all,
as developers, you are probably more involved, so you probably keep in mind
that there is a plan for release R14.0.10 at the end of April. Therefore,
only a small reminder, if you are not subscribed to the tde-announcements
list:

TDE version: TDE R14.0.9 (new install) (not an upgrade)
Hi all.
I put konquerorsu on the desktop menu by changing "NoDisplay" from true to
false in the .desktop file.
Clicked on the desktop icon, entered the password and konquerorsu opened but
with no directory view. See attached screenshot.
Next I opened konquerorsu in Konsole with
"sudo konqueror --profile filemanagement"
Again it opened but with no directory view and a bunch of errors showing in
Konsole. See attachment "Konsole-output-no-view-on-R14.0.9.txt"
I also opened it in Konsole with the --nocrashhandler option and got a bit of
backtrace at the bottom of the Konsole output. See attachment
"Konsole-output-(--nocrashhandler)-R14.0.9.txt"
There is also a crash report attached. This may not be relevant to the no
directory view problem as it only crashed after I had tried various buttons
on the konquerorsu menu bar. Home button for example brought up a "malformed
url" popup.
Any suggestions or fixes would be very welcome.
Many thanks,
Nigel.
