Update GIT scripts

Tim, all, Some time ago, I have dealt with an update scripts in 'tde'. For some time are updated scripts in v3.5.13-sru branch. I routinely use these scripts. And I would like to suggest also updating scripts in the master branch. What do you think? Slavek --

Image branding help needed

To the local image wizards: The following files eventually will be renamed to chalk*, but they still need branding work, before or after renaming. /opt/trinity/share/icons/crystalsvg/128x128/mimetypes/krita_kra.png (Deleting the "K" logo will be sufficient) /opt/trinity/share/icons/kdeclassic/48x48/apps/krita.png (Change the K to C?) /opt/trinity/share/icons/kdeclassic/48x48/mimetypes/krita_kra.png (Change the K to C?) /opt/trinity/share/icons/mono/scalable/apps/krita.svgz (Deleting the "K" logo will be sufficient) Thanks! Converting web pages to wiki pages

Throughout Trinity there are many web links in the apps and help handbooks pointing to URLs at the KDE web site. Some of the original KDE3 web pages remain available, although finding them is challenging. Some of the pages are gone or superseded with information for the newer KDE versions. There is no guarantee those KDE3 web pages will be retained by KDE web site maintainers. I recommend we start migrating those web pages to the Trinity wiki. Would somebody familiar with both HTML and wiki markup please investigate what is needed to migrate those web pages? If we create a check list for converting HTML to markup then anybody with a wiki account can help migrate those pages. Tim: libcarddav build error?

When I build libcarddav I see the following: configure.ac:26: error: AC_INIT should be called with package and version arguments I don't recall the error always being present. I don't see that error with libcaldav. Darrell

How to indent and disable a new GUI widget

I'm fiddling with a bug report hoping to learn how to manipulate a check box in a kcontrol dialog. I successfully added the checkbox and the check box functions correctly. The next step is I want the check box indented under the previous check box to signify a dependency relationship: | | Check box | | New check box The control layouts are defined in a *.ui file. What is the correct way (examples) in a *.ui file to indent controls? I started playing with <grid></grid> and row/column. I had some nominal success but I don't really understand how row/column/rowspan/colspan all work together. Second, the new check box should be disabled or ghosted when the parent check box is unchecked/disabled. The new check box should be enabled only when the parent check box is enabled/checked. Is that done in the *ui file or in the C++ code? Thanks. Darrell

3.5.13 SRU prerelease preparations

Hey guys, Thanks to the hard work of our excellent team members 3.5.13 SRU is almost ready to be released. Slavek has mentioned a tentative release date of October 1st, which is a week away. So we need: 1. A press release ready and have a list of people we want to send it to. That list has already been compiled. Sync'd mirrors - Slavek, Tim, is there enough time to do this in 1 week or should we push release back further? 3. Updated website - Tim - what do I need to do to make this happen? 4.
