Re: [trinity-devel] Packaging question regarding /usr/docs

When packaging Trinity to install in a non conflicting location such as /opt/trinity ($PREFIX), should associated documentation files still be installed in /usr/doc/$PACKAGE_NAME or installed in $PREFIX/doc/$PACKAGE_NAME? I believe convention calls for still installing in /usr/doc but I want to make sure.

Convention does call for /usr/doc, but I think TDE has code to handle the other case as well. It is up to your distribution as to how tightly convention is followed.
