But that didn't work for me either. 1) Delete .trinity/share/apps/kate 2) Open Kate 3) Sessions -> Open Shows two sessions: Default Session 0 Session (05:46:34 PM) 1 4) Select Session (05:46:34 PM), click Open 5) Window -> Tool View -> Hide Documents 6) Sessions -> Save 7) Close Kate 8) Open Kate -- Document view persists. :-(
