The key is saved by "apt-key add ..." under /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/ directory.
apt-key is flaged as deprecated, but I have not found what replaces it yet. It's no real issue on daedalus, but I get a warning for virtualbox keys. Interestingly not for the TDE keys that were imported a while back.
