Hi humans, AIs and others..
I hope all of you are well in this zombie apocalypse.
Well now, update and all seems well save for one thing.
The Settings->Configure Konqueror and select Behaviour in the iconbar to the
left is missing. I accidently set konq (root) to allow delete without warning
and I want to set it back but can't.
Any help? Has it been moved? Removed? Zombies get it?
Oh dear...
Well thanks to all in advance.
Stay safe,
Kate

Hi Forrest Leeson (kool name if it's your name)
No sure if I understand what you're saying/asking.
I'm an avid konq user. Litterally on it everyday, all day.
It's me primary power tool. Use it for video/audio/image conversion using
servicemenus to konsole etc.
So if something is wrong I'd like to know.
Give me a step by step of how to recreate the error. You can also send me a
small video of your actions for me to follow along if there's a language
barriar.

Nope, no such problem here.

If Konqueror is set to sort by type or mimetype, the sort indicator
will appear on the appropriate column from then on, but the actual
files will be sorted alphabetically.
Google turns up nothing with "konqueror sort filetype
site:pearsoncomputing.net", so maybe something's broken lower down on
my system, as Caja has a similar problem (not Thunar, though).

Hi guys,
I have a couple of PCs running Fedora 29, and I'm like to get TDE
running on them.
(1) has an Intel Celeron CPU G3950 (2 cores) @ 3.00GHz with 4GB of RAM.
(2) has Intel(R) Core i3-8109U CPU (4 cores) @ 3.00GHz with 8GB of RAM.
What are my chances of getting it to work? How do I go about it?
Thanks in advance!

Hi all!
I just ran into a problem with the color of the text in the adressline of konqueror:
The text is always black and I have not found a way to change it. Also the color of the text under the icons in the konquerors settings dialog turn to black on mouseover, but never change back again when mouse is leaving. Please see the attached image, I've marked the spots :)
Could somebody with a dark theme please check if it's just me?

Hi
This is a bizarre problem which I did not have in earlier trinity
versions. I use the fn F1 key to silence my audio, but then I have to
use the *kmixer* (either pulse audio or HDA Intel) to reactive the
speaker, the FN keys wouldn't do it, however in earlier version, just
raising the volume would open the speaker, now it does not. Is this a
BUG?
Regards
Uwe Brauer
kmix fails to start:
"kmix: error while loading shared libraries: libtdeinit_kmix.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
the library does exist in /opt/trinity/lib , all the other apps with libraries there work fine.
anyone seen this error message, and how to solve it
gregm
Like several others on the list, I’ve pretty much always had KMail crash the
first time after launch (that I tried to use the ‘Search:’ box). I needed to
search on something today and it crashed 4 times in a row, *argh!* I type
fairly fast, ~75 wpm, so on a lark, the fifth time I very, very slowly typed
one letter at a time and it didn’t crash. *yeah!*
Hopefully this works for others...
Best,
Michael

Anyone have any personal experience with a pure Linux replacement for
QuickBooks? My needs are from a sole proprietor standpoint, not that a full
up corporate accounting capable solution isn’t acceptable.
I’ve search-fu’ed several options, but I’d rather hear what people who’ve
actually used them have to say about them.
Thanks,
Michael
