I get this msg too. I use Android File Transfer and, sometimes, gmtp.
Konq was better but suddenly stopped working. For now, the above should help.

I went to burn the iso image, and discovered that somehow it had not been
downloaded completely (using wget). So I searched the mailing list for
Michael, Devuan, etc., but still no luck.
Could you please send the download link once more? Many thanks!
Bill
Hi all,
since there are still occasional posts sent to old mailing lists, I would
like to point out a second time about the approaching deadline of mailing
list migration. At the end of the month, the forwarding of posts back to
the old mailing lists will be stopped. So let me remind those who still
use old mailing list, you should consider subscription for new mailing
list soon!
See the full announcement that was sent some time ago:

I missed this thread, but why don't you build a simple debian package?
If it were to be installed in custom directory, I found out that a kind of
isolation is the best approach.
I use /opt/custom and compile/install in /opt/custom/<application>
Then I add to the global or users PATH /opt/custom/<application>/bin
I also found out that creating /opt/custom/<application> and chown to a
users and compiling/installing with that user prevents from broken
installers. The method never failed, although in recent years I have
reduced the applications there to absolute minimum in favor to debian
packages.

Hi All,
Yeah, I don’t have a decent grasp on regex, but I need one (I think) for a
KMail filter. I need to match this one line in a Subject:
***SPAM*** lfd on srv07.srv07-inet-design.com: 93.174.93.68
(NL/Netherlands/-) blocked for port scanning
(the spam part is intermittent), based on these two pieces:
‘lfd on srv07.srv07-inet-design.com:’
-and-
‘) blocked for port scanning’
Is there a way to do that without regex? If not, anyone know a solution off
the top of their head? Or a really good guide to regex (that doesn’t make
your head swim)?
Best,
Michael
The Foundation schools were established in 2009. The Gunjur branch has become one of the top CBSE schools in varthur, Gunjur, Whitefield and best school in Sarjapur Road areas in a short period of time. The schools follow a methodology that helps children through hands on activities and experiential learning. Children at The Foundation School are seen not as consumers who need external entertainment, but as producers who interact with various learning material with their own hands; construct knowledge and gain immense satisfaction from the process. In keeping with this methodology, The Foundation School follows the Montessori Philosophy at the pre-primary level, and experiential learning from grade 1 onwards. All of these make The Foundation School, one of the foremost leading and progressive schools in Varthur, Gunjur, Schools in Whitefield and also schools near sarjapur Road areas of Bangalore.
