Hello,
The update of binutils in jessie (debian testing) breaks trinity:
Most trinity packages depends on libr0.
libr0 depends on binutils (< 2.24.51.20140618)
binutils in jessie is now 2.24.51.20140709-1

Hello
This is very odd (using Kubuntu 10.04, trinity 3.5.13), I set
"Control '"c to change keyboard layout. (I have 3 keyboards configured)
Sometimes, but not always when hitting "Control '" the keyboard does not
change but slowly X freezes and I have to turn off the machine, since no key is
working!
Has somebody observed something similar?

Please, hijack away. :-) This is a serious issue in this current age of
spying/hacking, and I don't fully understand why it is still occurring for
a handful of users.
Can you please post any of the TDE-related lines (e.g. anything starting
with ppa.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net) from your /etc/apt/sources.list
file and from any files in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ ?
Thanks!
Tim

Hi Guys,
Just installed Alexandre's live CD PCLinuxOS with Trinity Desktop.
If you look in "Trinity Control Center" "KDE Components" Component
Chooser and Default Applications, contain the same options and for
all intents and purpose are identical except for the name.
Now got this installed on at least half a dozen machines and it seems
to be OK. Thanks Alexandre.

Hello
I just realized that libQtNetwork.so.4:
is part of
libqt4-network
So I tried to remove this package but then I am told that 154 package
will be removed, which I refused.
Now when I tried
Sudo apt-get install (it is already installed) then instead of uprading
apt-get offers me to install 20 addional packages
libphonon4 libqt4-assistant libqt4-dbus libqt4-designer libqt4-help libqt4-opengl
libqt4-qt3support libqt4-script libqt4-scripttools libqt4-sql
libqt4-sql-mysql libqt4-sql-sqlite libqt4-svg libqt4-test
libqt4-webkit libqt4-xml libqt4-xmlpatterns libqtcore4 libqtgui4
I am really puzzled.
Hello
I am running 10.04 with trinity 3.5.13 on various laptops. So far kvpnc
has worked out with problem, but after installing it a couple of minutes
ago in the last laptop I obtain an error when executing kpvnc:
kvpnc: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libQtNetwork.so.4:
invalid ELF header
I have never seen this error before and I am quite puzzled.
Any help is appreciated since kvpnc is one of the essential packages for
me.

Debian Wheezy, amd64, TDE 3.5.13.
Trying to print a construction drawing, pdf format in kpdf. I use 11x17
paper which is, depending on orientation, either ledger or tabloid.
The image printed is 8.5x11, letter size. The image is not scaled to
11x17.
I use cups 1.5.3 + depends and recommends. hpcups 3.12.6 (color, 2-sided
printing) driver. HP Officejet Pro 8600
Tried TDE R14 with the same results.
Evince prints fine,
Can anyone verify?

Peace,
Greg
I'm currently using Debian stable, which provides KDE 4.8.4 and KMail
1.13.7. I used to use testing, but went to stable when testing got
KDE 4.12.4, which in turn provides a new KMail. But I can't seem to
migrate my mail and settings from 4.8.4 to Trinity's Kmail. I tried
just copying directories, but got nowhere. Any hints. pointers etc.
appreciated.
openSUSE 13.1 is over 7 months old, yet not listed on
https://www.trinitydesktop.org/ .
When will TDE be available for it? Why is it missing?
