Problems after migration / korgac

Yesterday finally decided to upgrade Kubuntu 10.10 to 11.10 as support for 10.10 expired. Well, didn't really go smooth but got it working. Cannot use korgac, keeps crashing directly after calling it. Not good. Pointers? A Trinity Ubuntu Precise Live CD?

Has anybody given any thoughts to creating a new Trinity Live CD for Ubuntu? Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin should be released today. It is a LTS (long term support) version and will receive updates for the next five years (both server and desktop). Previous Ubuntu LTS releases were supported for 3 years on the desktop and 5 years on the server. Normal Ubuntu releases are supported for 18 months. I did consider making one for Ubuntu 11.10 but I don't know how! What software should be included? If nobody else rises to the challenge I will investigate making a Live CD using Ubuntu 12.04 and TDE 3.5.13 and call it a beta version. When 3.5.14 is released the Live CD can be updated and an official version announced. What do we call it - Tubuntu, Tribuntu, Tbuntu or simply Ubuntu Trinity?

Installing Trinity 3.5.12 on Squeeze

Hello, all! I am trying to install Trinity 3.5.12 on Squeeze, with LXDE already installed, (sources.list below). Having edited my sources.list, I then: # apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.quickbuild.pearsoncomputing.net --recv-keys 2B8638D0 # aptitude update # aptitude install desktop-base-trinity kde-trinity I got a long list of unsatisfied dependencies and a suggested resolution. I tried, as I usually do, to see what was unresolved and what I wanted to do about it, but this proved so difficult in LXDE's terminal that I finally decided to install whatever it would install, and take it from there. It installed nothing. (Or, as it put it 0.) I did exactly this a couple of weeks ago on another computer, and ended up with Trinity 3.5.12 up and running. Can anyone spot what I have done wrong this time? To make matters worse, I have to get this done by tomorrow. :-( Thanks. Any recent installations of TDE to Ubuntu Oneiric?

Has anyone installed TDE to Ubuntu Oneiric in the last few days? A friend is having trouble doing it. Some packages are not getting installed, such as kdm-trinity. He is following the instructions here: http://www.trinitydesktop.org/installation.php#ubuntu

ktorrent crash report.

TDE 3.5.12, Debian Squeeze. ktorrent crashed when I opened a torrent file. I have a ktorrent.kcrash file. I did not find any related bug reports. Are bug reports relevant to 3.5.12 ? -- Peace, Greg
