So is there any way I can persuade Trinity to
keep the settings in
KControl??
I don't know about KControl, but if you run KRandRTray, you can click on
the icon in the system tray and select the monitor you want, or select
"Next available output" and it'll go to the other one. Very easy and
foolproof. I use it to switch to the TV and back when playing movies on a
laptop via S-Video cable.
