And konqueror returns this information: "FSView intentionally does not support automatic updates when changes are made to files or directories, currently visible in FSView, from the outside." I opened konqueror as root, and am reviewing info now. I have a picture of my hard drive, but so far nothing unusual. (I've seen this before, but haven't done it in a while.)
