Well, not what I see here. From companies point of view there's no point in taking
debian any more, it's basicly Redhat. The graybeards I'm in contact are on the
verge to leaving debian to FreeBSD. Even if only 10% leave, it'll be the sysadmins
leaving, and that's no good sign, as they won't come back. Debian is cutting
ist's roots, no matter what will come out of the GR, harm is done.
Don't get fooled, the "year of the linux desktop" is not going to happen, as
it already happend with android. No second chance there.
BTW, TDE could get a goot stand on FreeBSD, as I see it. GNOME3 and derivatives already
show featurerott on BSD, e.g. thunar automounter stopped working some time ago. KDE4
beeing the only competetor in BSD land :-)
